This was the first of what became annual Playmate of the Year stories shot for Evening Magazine. It rained the day of the shoot with Barbara Edwars so we driven indoors, this shot in the aviary at the Playboy Mansion Cathy and Teresa were my best friends in grad school. Here we are celebrating the birth of Cathys son during summer semester with champagne and home made chocolate cake. Cathy is teaching photo in NC, weve lost touch with Teresa - last I heard from her she was living in Florence, Italy and married to a man named Ettore. If anybody knows her (and if you ever met her you WOULD remember), please tell her to find me.

 

Barbara J. Edwards (born June 26, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American model and actress known for her appearances in Playboy magazine and B-movies. She was Playmate of the Month for September 1983 and Playmate of the Year for 1984.
