Erika Eleniak from Baywatch, at the 2010 Sacramento Autorama. |
This layout is a tease I have been working on that may be used in an upcoming comic parody of certain physically harmful but discrete vices and indulgences that may have been blown out of proportion. The follow-up to Francis Benettis wildly amuzing and successful pizza story.
I love the black and white texture, simplicity and softness in this layout. It has a certain glow that draws your immediate attention. The really tough part is using artisitic nudity to illustrate a commentary without really showing anything obscene or vulgar. This is a constant challenge that really works my nerves. Any suggestions from fellow photographers or design artists would be immensely appreciated.
Enjoy with your favorite beverage, I like mine stirred and shaken with a banana on top (wink).

Erika is best known for playing Shauni, a LA Lifeguard in the TV series Baywatch. |
This layout was meant originally for a segment about the rabid proliferation of pornography without control on the internet. Freedom of speech is great, freedom of expression is sacred but the uncontrolled distribution of porn is something the West Coast Midnight Run has issues with.
But why preach?
The resulting segment became a tongue-in-cheek piece that goes about it in a roundabout manner. Pornography, Promiscuity, Paranoia and Privacy Violation. Long before the Imus Witch Hunt, long before the Boston marketing charade turned sour stunt, the West Coast Midnight Run and Jon Shiin presented its essay on Assy McGee and his pal Aassy McGlee.
I am really proud to have participated on this project.

Erika Eleniak at the Ocean City Convention Center. I met Erika today and she was very nice and a lot of fun. Erika was in Baywatch, Playboy, and some really good bad movies. Photo: March 14, 2010. |
