Lonny Chin (born August 12, 1960 in Liverpool, England) is an English model and actress of Chinese, Jamaican, Welsh and Swedish descent. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its January 1983 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Arny Freytag.
She also was the first Playmate to be the subject of a video profile, which aired on the Playboy Channel and was available in the first Playboy Video Magazine.
Her first nude scene in the video, presented in slow motion with jazz music in the background, shows her under a waterfall. She's next seen splashing water on herself in a pool before making a surface dive (with a good view of her butt) for an underwater swim (the camera shows her below the surface), then emerges out of the pool and disappears as she runs away.
Lonny and her parents moved from England to Canada when she was 6 years old, and they eventually settled in Vancouver, British Columbia, the home of several Playmates of the 1970s and 1980s.
