Michelle Hamilton (born January 9, 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian author.

Hamilton's most recent publication is the novel Child of Chaos, a gritty historical adventure blending murder, mystery and an epic love story, the first in a new series. A prior student of archeology and geography, Hamilton applies a unique perspective to Child of Chaos. She imbues the story with the feeling for locale she experienced visiting the United Kingdom and France, and threads the intricate plot with accurate historical events that lends the sensation of having been in that timeframe. Combined, these elements create a work of fiction of emotional depth and factual breadth.

Hamilton has travelled a great deal over the years, due mainly to a widespread family throughout the United States and Canada, but also due to curiosity pushing her to see most of Europe and the British Isles.
